Delete your DashMateAI account

You can delete your DashMateAI account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it — from inside the app, or by asking us over email.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open your account

In the DashMateAI app, open the menu and tap My Account.

Tap “Delete account”

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account (shown in red).

Confirm

Type DELETE to confirm. Your account and data are removed and your session ends immediately.

Option 2 — By email

If you can’t sign in, email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you:

jimmynguyen@minhhoangllc.com — subject “Delete my account”.

We verify the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data tied to it:

Your trips and driving history
Your earnings, expenses, and maintenance records
Vehicles you own, and their fuel, fault-code, and performance history
Saved locations and notifications
Your profile (name, email, phone, photo) — the account is anonymized

Your OBD-II reader is unpaired so it can be set up again, and any vehicle shared with you is removed from your access (the owner keeps their own data).

This can’t be undone. Once your account is deleted, the data above is gone and cannot be recovered.

What we may keep

We keep only the minimal records we’re legally required to retain — such as transaction or tax records — for the period required by law, after which they are deleted too. These are not used to identify you or to rebuild your account.
